En la mañana de este jueves fueron anunciados los nominados a la 88º entrega anual de los Premios de la Academia, durante una conferencia que tuvo lugar en el teatro Samuel Goldwyn de la Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences en Beverly Hills, California (Estados Unidos).
El presidente de la Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, los directores Guillermo Del Toro y Ang Lee, y el actor John Krasinski tomaron turnos para revelar cuales actores, películas, diseñadores, música, editores, guionistas, entre otros, serán destacados por las cintas estrenadas en 2015.
La premiación de los Oscar tendrá lugar el domingo 28 de febrero en el Teatro Dolby de Hollywood & Highland Center y será transmitida en más de 225 países.
El comediante Chris Rock dirigirá la gala por segunda vez, tras ser el maestro de ceremonia de la 77º entrega en 2005.
